Upgrade of Tubli Wastewater Treatment Plant
AquaTreat has recently been awarded the Upgrade of Tubli Wastewater Treatment Plant contract in Bahrain. The objective is to upgrade the existing wastewater treatment plant to accommodate additional loads received by the plant.
Tubli sewage treatment plant is sized to treat a capacity of 200,000 cum/day and serves a population of around 800,000 inhabitants. It is intended to upgrade Tubli sewage treatment plant to reach a capacity of 300,000 cum/day. Bluewater Bio, the main contractor, will provide its proprietary secondary treatment process HYBACS to achieve this.
AquaTreat has executed the contract with Bluewater Bio / ZeroWaste; and the project is financed by the Bahraini Ministry of Finance. AquaTreat will provide electromechanical equipment for the execution of the project in addition to installation, testing and commissioning services.
